12 days of Christmas, Day 11: Amazing Party Appetizers

Welcome to day 11 of the 12 days of Christmas series.  When I have family Christmas gatherings, I prefer to make appetizers. These are my 10 favorite foods to serve at any party.

1) As seen before I like to make these Mini Pizzas, they are fun for the kids to make as well.

Again, another favorite that I've blogged about. This Cream Cheese Ball is made up of green onions, ham, cream cheese and a dash of garlic salt.

3) Little Smokies
Well who doesn't love these. A package of little smokies, and a bottle of bbq sauce. So easy and so yummy!

4) Italian Meatballs
It could also be sweedish meatballs, but I like to add mine to tomato sauce and cook in the crock pot.
I usually just buy the frozen kind. We even like to get the small sub rolls along with some mozzarella slices and make mini sandwiches.

5) Summer Sausage.
I don't know anyone that won't grab a handful of crackers, cheese and summer sausage at my parties. So easy and the a big tube is only $5, add some slice cheeses, and crackers.

6) Queso
There a lot of different versions but I usually just make 4 oz of Velveeta and one can of Rotel. I never drain the juice. It makes it thinner and won't thicken when its cooled down as much as if you do drain the juice. I love to add this to tortilla chips but also to the tequitos to dip in.

7) Tequitos
You can buy these already made in the frozen section. I cook mine then split them in half. Looks like you have more and it goes further.

8) Tortilla Roll-Ups
I can't tell you how much I love these. I love it too when I have left overs. I can eat these for days.
I get the burrito size tortillas and a block of cream cheese, and you add either salsa, or green chili's.
Spread it on the tortillas and roll them up refrigerate them  for about 5 hours and then cut them into slices.

I love making these. You can see how to make them here.

You can view how to make these yummy sliders here.

I added a few more...
A veggie tray, and pigs in a blanket, lol.

Thanks so much for tuning in! I hope to see everyone for the last day of Christmas (DAY 12).
Until then...

  5. Hmm, these all look mouth-wateringly delicious. Ah, which one of them is the easiest to make? I have to write my essay and submit it, and thankfully, it’s almost done. So once I submit it, I will return here and search the recipe for each one of these appetizers to see which one I can make tonight. By the way, I like little smokies just slightly more than the rest.

  6. All of these dishes appear to be quite tasty. Which one is the most straightforward to make? I have to finish and submit my nursing dissertation writing service  , and it's almost done. So, once I've submitted it, I'll come back here and look up the recipes for each of these appetisers to determine which I can make tonight. By the way, I prefer small smokies over the others by a hair.

  8. This is a great way to get a quick visual overview of the classic Christmas song, "The 12 Days of Christmas". I love how the visual summaries make it easier to remember the gifts given over the 12 days. It's a great way to teach kids about the traditional holiday song. Plus, I think it's a lot of fun and makes Christmas a bit more special. Thanks for sharing!
