Yay, were finally here!!! Day 12 of the 12 Days of Christmas, whew, a long haul. I made it though and just barely.
Today, I want to give a special thanks to Mom Trusted.com for providing us with some really fun craft supplies.
There are feathers, pipe cleaners and tissue paper squares. I have a few more projects in store with all these supplies and I plan to post them all!
This time of year is a great time to get kids involved in crafts. While we as moms don't always have the time, it makes the kids feel a sense of accomplishment. My daughter is constantly asking me if she can help with my craft. Sometimes she can, but a lot of times not. She jumps at every opportunity to make something with her hands. As we all know, its a great feeling to say "I made that!"
When I saw all those feathers, I thought how fun would it be to make a feather ornament. So I grabbed some of the ornaments we weren't using and we began our transformation.
Then we began putting glue on the ornaments.
We used good ole Tacky glue to glue them on.
We selected all the baby blue and white feathers, so it would match the tree.
Cut the stem from bottom of the feather off.
And then begin gluing on the feathers one, by one.
The feathers go in all directions, but that is okay, we love them.
The kids love them, and I am sure Santa will love them too!
Thank you Mom Trusted.com for providing us with the craft supplies. We plan on making more, so stay tuned!
Thanks for stopping by! I hope EVERYONE has a MERRY CHRISTMAS!
