Welcome to day 7 of the 12 Days of Christmas!
It's been a heck of a weekend here in Icy Texas.
We've been trapped indoors all weekend long. We finally got the tree up though.
I decided to go with teal and silver, but (sigh) it's not as pretty as I imagined. Hmm, might have to buy a white Christmas tree next year. I am sure I could get it for a great price after Christmas.
The kids had fun as usual decorating the tree, but they missed some of the old ornaments.
But I have something special in store to display some of the unique ones.
I had a lot of red and gold balls from last year, and since I'm not doing those colors this year. I thought how perfect to make a centerpiece from them.
I had this lovely vase that my mother gave me. It's nice and wide and tall.
I arranged them in the vase and topped it off with a bow from some gold ribbon I already had.
I love the way it looks on the table, and goes quite nice with the plaid table cloth.
