12 Days of Christmas, Day 6: Christmas Fridge Clothes Pin Magnets

Welcome, welcome to Day 6 of the 12 days of Christmas Series!

I am still blogging everyday, despite the struggle. It wouldn't be so bad except for the fact that I have a gazillon knitting orders and that's on top of all of my the knitted gifts I want to make. Can you see my eyes through your computer screen? They are blood shot and bulging. Nah, not that bad yet. I am sure they will by the end of Christmas though. Oh man that reminds me too. I have a project to write up too as a guest blogger. Man I need a clone.

Ok, yes moving on. That's the ADD in me kicking in. Focus Allie! Your readers might just want to know how we made them.

Today, we made these darling and fun kids craft. Shh, don't tell its kinda fun for the adults too.
We made something very similar for a Valentine craft (a few years back)for my daughters school party, when it was our turn for crafts. The kids loved it. I remember doing things like this with my step mom growing up, and loved that we could see it on the fridge all the time.

Last winter, I got these Christmas Foam stickers on clearance. I knew exactly what I would use them for... Clothes pin magnets.
However, you can get these currently at Michael's, Walmart, or any craft store.
I love them because they are self adhesive. So perfectly safe and no mess for the kiddos.

You'll also of course need some clothes pins, and some self adhesive magnets that you can get at Walmart or any craft store. The pins and the magnets are super cheap.

Simply peel the sticker backing off and place it on your pin.
My daughter had a lot of fun making them.

Ok, now its not that much fun! She was being silly when I told her to smile.

They are great to hold pictures and other important things on the fridge. We will certainly use them to put up the Christmas Photo Cards we get from friends and family.

You know what else they are great for? Chip clips! Keep them on the fridge until you need one then grab one off and clip it on a chip bag.

Thanks for tuning in. Hope to see everyone EVERYDAY for the next 6 Days!
Until tomorrow...

  1. Nice idea, I only have to look after magnets, I didn't see them before. Succes with all your business. ADD? Sometimes I love it, sometimes I hate it... :-)
