My Favorite Posts of 2013

Hello All!
I hope you all had a wonderful and safe New Years eve last night! I hope you all woke up headache free, and ready for the New Year!
New goals and resolutions, happiness, health and wealth! I wish all of that and more for you and your families and friends!

So just a quick re-cap of my some of my favorite posts from 2013.

This was such a fun project. I picked it up for only $5 and spent only $4 more on paint to recover this cool desk. My daughter just loves it. click here to see how the makeover.

I just love making these headbands. I have made a few for customers, along with my sister. She loves it, and I love making the crochet flowers. You can see how I made them here.

I liked my little wreath this fall! I loved making them with my sister too. We love doing crafts together. It's nice too to look at the some of the crafts and remembering the memory we had making it.
I've gotten a lot of compliments on this wreath too, which always makes me smile.

I love looking at this everyday when I walk in the door. I can see it too from my living room. I catch myself starring at it sometimes, hehe.
My son recently threw a football in the house and he knocked it down and all the letters fell off. I was so crushed, but some how the glass in the frames was not broken. My husband fixed it for me thankfully! See how I made this amazing name art here.

I still haven't gotten to use this beautiful bench for a photo shoot. However it looks adorable sitting next to my patio door! I loved learning how to make chalk paint for the first time with this project.

I love learning new ways to save money, all while making something pretty. I loved the look of the pearl and rhinestone centerpieces, but man buying those for $3 or more a piece, how the heck would I have made profit from selling my flowers/baby headbands? Learn how to make these here.

Maybe this should have been the first or last. This was my absolute favorite project this year. Although it was a bit difficult! I love the color and the style, and best of all I love my the way my daughter and son look in it.

I love redoing furniture. Bringing new life to a piece just makes my heart happy! If only my husband would let me bring home just any piece I wanted. Well that would just make sooo happy!
I have my eye on a old wooden school desk. Its at the Antique Mall and its only $12.99. I mean come on, that is screaming my name!

My daughter has absolutely loved her newly made over bean bag. In fact it stays in the living room a lot and the kids sit on it to play games. Its so soft and so stylish!

When my sister asked if we could make her some of these lace capri's I was like yay! Crafty Allie project!
They were so super easy to make, and are such a nice touch to a pair of old pants!

I love doing cool new paid projects for customers. This Texas Rangers T Shirt Dress was a custom request, but she provided the shirt, and I just had to work my magic. It sometimes is nerve racking to think you might mess it up, but I always tell myself to just take it slow and don't screw it up, lol.

My son has loved this camo chair. I have loved showing it off too, what can I say! It was fairly easy to make. It just took a little time and patience!

I want to make some more bunting, that was so fun! Obviously the kids had a lot of fun with their photo booth too!

I hope enjoyed looking back as much as I did! Happy New Years to everyone!

Thanks for tuning in! Until next time...
