Paper Mache Hearts-Sponsored by Mom Trusted.com

Today's Craft is brought to you by Mom Trusted.com.

They gave me all these craft supplies.

Back on the 12th Day of Christmas Post, we made some Feathered Ornaments.

Thank you very much MomTrusted.com for providing us with such a big supply. Because of it, we are able to do more than just one craft. I have a few more ideas up my sleeve, and I will post them  here on Crafty Allie.

Today we're using the pink tissue paper squares to make paper mache hearts.

What you will need:

Put your glue in a disposable container and dilute with a small amount of water. I literally turned the faucet on low and very quickly ran it under there and then back out.

Mix Well.

Tear out several sheets out of the magazine, or newspaper.
Then tear each page in half.

Dip one half into the glue. A quick dip on only 1/4 is pretty much all you need.

Crumple up the paper into a ball. Make 3 for each heart. On the bottom ball form it into a point on the bottom to form the base of the heart.

(sorry this picture is so blurred)

Then use 1/4 of a magazine page. Dip in the glue and cover the three balls.
You may have to repeat this step.
Form the balls into a heart the best you can.

Then take your tissue paper and cover the heart.
You will have to make one heart at a time, as it is very sticky.

If your fingers are too sticky and it rips the tissue paper, then get a little glue on you fingers and finger paint the heart and apply more tissue paper.

And there you have it. Your very own paper mache hearts.
As you can see we weren't very consistent in our shapes and sizes.
And ahh, these are the better ones, lol.

Oh well, it was fun. I always enjoy making crafts with my daughter. Brings me back to my childhood.

Thank you so much for tuning in! Until next time...
