Creamy Mashed Potatoes

Well Hello and Happy Monday Ya'll.

Woot, woot for a short work week! Yippee!

Well and plus the excuse to wear loose pants and stuff my face, ya
I'll take that too!

So this recipe obviously is to help those out who want to make some mashema tatoes this Thursday, but of course every days a good day for them.{insert giggles}

Ok, so easy peasy recipe for you all, my lovely readers.

You will need:

5 pound back of russell potatoes (1 bag)
8 ounces of sour cream
5 tbs butter
5 tbs garlic salt
(McCormick with parsley preferred)

And yes that's it!

Peel each potato, and don't worry about getting every single bit of the skin off, a little skin makes for great texture.

Cut potatoes in cubes and add to a large pot of boiling water.

I usually boil mine for about 15 minutes, and then do the fork check to make sure they are nice and mushy.

Drain all water from pot when potatoes are soft.

Add your salt, sour cream and butter.

and mix, mix, mix. Add more salt if you're taste buds like more. Just add a little each time and test taste, like any dish its easy to over salt.

And there you have it. I've been told my mashed potatoes taste just like the ones at
Salt Grass steak house.
That was never what I intended on attempting, but hey I'll take that compliment for SURE!

Thanks so much for tuning in!
Until Next Time...
