Turning 40, getting older but having fun!

Well hello Lovelies! How was you weekend? Mine was fabulous, although I spent the majority of today, being so lazy after partying hard at my husbands 40th birthday party!

Yep the BIG

The best part of his party is that it was sponsored by

Party Pail.com is an online party supply store.

They have it all! They ship fast, provide amazing customer service, and their prices are fantastic. They carry over 2,500 specialty favors, and party supplies including invitations, centerpieces, tableware, plates, napkins, banners, balloons, and much more!

They have a ton of different themes, and colors to make your party PERFECT!

I picked the Holy #%@* You are 40 theme.
I got those cute hanging banners, and centerpieces,

and plenty of cups, plates, and napkins.

I had cupcakes made with Oreo crumble to resemble dirt, and then added that homemade sign to the right OLDER THAN DIRT!

And got some more centerpieces, and desert plates and napkins.

This time I hung them from the chandelier in my dining room. It looked so cool in there too!

We had a lot of fun, that's my handsome hubby with the Nike hat on!

And here he is again, holding his Cowboys Tarvis Tumbler. The smirk on his face says it all "Hmm, Cowboys? Should I be caught drinking out of this."

And look at this huge watermelon one of our friends gave us. I mean OMG, this baby weighed 61 pounds. I guess I'll have to look up more watermelon recipes and invite the neighborhood over to help us eat it.

Thank you so much PartyPail.com, for supplying all of our fun party essentials!

You made his party a lot of fun!

And thank you all for tuning in!
Until Next Time...

  1. Great decorations, but do they really need to start "you're old" stuff at 40? That's too close for my comfort! Happy Belated Birthday!

  2. 40 is the new 25 - honestly, not old at all ( I say this with 4 years experience as I speed gracefully towards 45...aarrgghhhhh!!!!)
