When is the right time to buy business cards?

Some would say right off the bat, as soon as you open your small business.

I currently have about 3 small businesses.
 I am a photographer on the side 
(AndyLizzy Photography), however I have only had a few hand fulls of paid clients.

 I also resell new and used items as well as handmade items on ebay (http://www.ebay.com/usr/cbbtex76).

But mainly, I sell hand knitted and crochet items on Etsy 
(All Occasions by Allie).

I get knitted orders on the side as well, from co-workers, friends of friends, or co-workers from my husbands work. 
My sister wears a lot of my stuff, like scarfs, hats and headbands because that's what she's gotten from me for Christmas and Birthday gifts (per her request).

Her friends and co-workers ask where she gets them from and she tells them, 
but she is always saying to me 
"Allie if you had business cards I could hand them one and I bet they would end up buying from you!"

She is so right! I of course kept putting it off, but knew I needed to do it sometime soon as fall and winter are coming up and that is the time the orders roll in the most.
