It's time to redo this old beach theme bathroom!

I have literally been buying things since last summer to re-do my bathroom.

But I had a huge list of things I needed to do, and the bathroom kept getting pushed further and further down the list.

But no more waiting! I finally pulled up my big girl (non-procrastinating) panties and dove in.

This is my guest bathroom, a.k.a the kids bathroom and I haven't splurged on one of the Kohler Faucets like I saw at my friends house. This is the smaller bathroom, and I had a really hard time getting photos of it.

Here's the counter. Its kid friendly, a needs a little help.

I loved this border when I first got it. Um, ya that was 12 years ago. Where has the time gone? Also need to definitely replace the light fixtures! See I have a bulb missing, won't even bother replacing it since were getting a new pretty one!

Plans to frame this standard huge mirror!

 New shower curtain please,
with new shower rings.

I'll show you more of the remodeling process, on the next post but for now lets dive on in and take off this border!

It seemed like it wanted to come up fairly easy at first, but then what do you do when it is stuck on the wall?

Vinegar and water my friends!

Spray the heck out of it, let it soak for a minute and then start scraping it off.

I had a few hard spots that were stubborn, but you just have to keep spraying and scraping, it will come off eventually!

I'll post more tomorrow, so stay tuned for part 2!

Thanks for tuning in!
 Until next time...

  1. Oh my gosh, how did you know? Just today I was looking at the border in my kids' bathroom and wondering if I could pull it off! Vinegar and water! Who knew? Good luck with the re-do and thanks for the inspiration.

  2. If you want to transform your bathrooms into utility spaces where you have everything you need within your reach, then you will have to include some very important furniture pieces such as cabinets, shelves, mirrors and a white vanity unit. official source
