Pin Trivia

Bobby Pin
Bobbing pins became popular in the 1920s to hold the new bobbed hairstyles popular for women working in the war effort.
There is some controversy as to who actually invented the bobby pin with Robert (Bobby) Pinot being cited by wikipedia;
patent US 1233195 by Samuel Creech and Perry Bland of Sullivan, IL, in 1917 are also a contender;
with Luis Marcus also being cited as the inventor by yet another website.
