DIY Dallas Cowboys PINK Hat

Hello beauties, and Happy Monday!
I know boo, Monday, but its a beautiful day with beautiful weather!

I just love the cool weather and the fall autumn crisp in October!

And its also... Breast Cancer Awareness Month!!!

What a better way to celebrate then to make some Pink Hats!
And since we're Cowboys fans, how perfect to make pink ones with a Star!

We bought these hats at Academy Sports for only $4.99
They are a wonderful pepto bismol color.

This literally only costs me $15 for all three of them to make, because I already had the other materials.

First cut out a card stock star template.

Then trace your star onto your fabric.

Then cut the star out and pin it to your hat.

And then sew, its not the easiest task, as its a canvas type material, but it only took 5 minutes or less for each one.

As you see it frayed as I sewed it, but actually that's the look I wanted.

Now its time for the rhinestones.
I picked out matching rhinestones from my stash I already had.
These are the ones that have adhesive already on them, but you do need a rhinestone heating setter.

But for as many rhinestones as we had, we finally got smart and laid the rhinestones down for each side of the star and then ironed them on. So much faster, just make sure you put a piece of fabric on top, so the rhinestones don't burn onto the iron.

And then whala, they're done and ready to enjoy!

Thanks for tuning in!
Until next time...
