A Mexican Dip you won't want to wait to try!

Hey, hey everyone!
Happy Monday, hope its not
Moanday for you!
Remember that delicious Pumpkin Pie recipe I shared on the 12 days of Christmas from my dear Floridan friend Minnou?
Well she's back again to help an old crippled girl out.

To delight your taste buds today
 is another dip treat.
She calls it ’Minnou’s Mexican Dip’
This is actually her signature dish
that her friends are always
requesting she brings to parties.

It’s an ‘anytime’ treat but will be perfect soon for your spring and summer parties.

Minnou recently made it for a get together with friends and it was devoured in 20 minutes!
The best part is its very easy to make and requires no cooking and is fast, this dip can be made in 10 minutes.

Here is the list of ingredients:
1. 8oz Cream Cheese Whipped (low fat)
2. 1 Bottle Shrimp Cocktail Sauce
3. 1lb Small Cooked Shrimp (salad shrimp)
4. 1 Green Bell Pepper and Scallions Chopped (or red and yellow peppers or all 3)
5. 1 Small Can Black Olives Diced or Sliced
6. 1 Small Bag Shredded Sharp Cheese
7. Chili Powder To Taste
8. Pie Dish
9. Tostitos Scoops
Now To Make…

Use 1/3 of the bag and make sure that its completely thawed. Also its important that is COMPLETELY free of moisture,
Blot them thoroughly with paper towels before putting them in the dip.

Add all the ingredients listed above in a pie dish in the same order as it’s listed. You can adjust the ingredients to taste, but even though the dip looks really rich in the photos, you’ll notice once it’s chilled and served it’s just right.

Please note the shrimp cocktail sauce gets applied twice, once directly over the cream cheese and a second time over the shrimp as you see in the photos.

Only use enough cocktail sauce cover the shrimp and cream cheese.
If you put in too much more the dip will be runny.

Once you have made the dip it’s best to chill it just a bit in the fridge.

Minnou likes to serve it with Tostitos Scoops as your guests can scoop up the dip right on to them without needing serving utensils.

Once Again Minnou thank you very much and we hope to see more of your recipes very soon!
Bon Appetite!

Thanks for tuning in!
Until Next time...

Minnou is a full time teacher in a very busy pre-school in Ft. Lauderdale who works with a lot of special needs children, once a banker but now she has much more enriching life working with kids then money can provide!
