Green Bean Bundles

Thanksgiving is next week, yay!

Im so happy!!!
I'll eat to my hearts content, and push the guilty feeling aside until the New Years!

Ok, so a great recipe to impress your family this year is
Green Bean Bundles, YUM!

These are so mouthwatering delicious!
I've grown up on these and now my kids love them as much as I did.

I recently fixed these for a work lunch that my husband had, and as always they were a big hit!

Ok, so without further ado...

You will need:

4 cans of Whole Green Beans
(not the french style)
1 pound of bacon
1 cup of butter
1 1/2 cup of brown sugar
2 tsp garlic salt
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp liquid smoke

Cut your bacon slices in half and wrap 10 green beans at a time, and hold together with a toothpick.

Microwave the butter and then add all of the rest of the ingredients. Stir vigorously.

Then pour the sauce over the green bean bundles and chill overnight or at least 6 hours.

Cook in the oven at 375 degrees for 45 minutes to one hour.
I usually take them out after 45 minutes and with a baster redistribute the sauce over the top of the bundles. Then I cook for an additional 15 minutes.

*The liquid smoke is optional. We have always used it and it taste great with it, but I have seen recipes that do not have it in it.

I do hope you enjoy them, I know your guest will!

Thanks for tuning in!
Until next time,
