Hello and Happy Tuesday! I hope your week is going well so far!
Today... I'd like to show off my
nightstand makeover!
I got this nightstand at a
garage sale as it was closing.
The guy was so eager to get rid of everything and when he saw I was buying other stuff to redo he said here take this too for FREE!
Did my ears hear you right?
Can't beat that!
I love the charm of this nightstand,
it has such beautiful details,
but man look at how messed up it was!
But its solid wood! So I can deal, I can deal!
So I mixed a sample of Behrs Matte
and mixed it with
Per the directions, you mix 1/4 powder mix
with 1 cup of paint,
and 2 tablespoons of warm water
and then stir, stir, stir.
The color is showing up a lot whiter in this photo.
But its actually has a tint of beige in it.
This is what it looked like after two coats.
And I hand painted the drawer pulls as well.
All in all I love the way it turned out,
and I LOVE
So easy to use, and I love the chalky look and feel!
I love that it looks like its always been painted this way!
Also, now it really looks like there are
two drawers on the top.
You can win a box of Poppies Paint
Powder or buy some right now. They
